Maybe this will help, I never home my deckel. When it's powered up I move all the axes to see if everything is OK then I go directly to work by setting zero on the part and starting the program.
Locks are engaged only when you press the power off button or call it via a program. (correct me if...
Yes, it is a flip head, I assume that was the case.
Thank you!
Some pictures of the work.
The machine did run for some hours and had to cool the head during long program runs.
Hello,
Has anyone worked on parts while swiveling the head?
The question I have is when the work is finished and it's time to return the head to its neutral position are there pins to "center" it or do I have to use a dial indicator to get it aligned with the flat table?
Best regards
Definitely a keeper as she is one of the main workhorse.
Thank you! Just wanted to gather some more information if the heat was the real problem and how to test it and if something else needs replacing too before buying.
Best regards
Domen
Thank you for the information!
I didn't found the BNC connector but I did find the small video connector on the NRP53 board. Did look for the type of connector on google but didn't find anything like it.
On the NCR53 board, there is a cable missing at K12.
Will look into the tachometers and...
I checked the NSV board, it's not original but it is from FPS. It's a few years old (I think from 2015). There isn't any BNC connector either (will attach a photo). There is a big connector inside a control (will attach a photo), wondering what is it for?
There is something else inside the CRT...
Hello,
1.
I am working on Deckel FP5NC (Dialog 4) and I noticed the machine is leaving a mark when doing a circle/arc. The mark is on both sides of the circle along the X-plane. I tried entering the circle on Y-plane but the mark is still there.
The mark is about >0.01mm in size.
I'm...
Thank you Ross for the information.
D values are automatically written by the post. Today I try deleting then out of the post and it helped.
I called G17 because the post didn't but the G18 was again written automatically. Don't know why. I checked the orientation in CAD and was ok. Will delete...
I think you misunderstood the post. If not correct me.
The link that I send is for a problem within the post-processor. In the picture, you see the same program. One is named 4.nc and the other 41.nc.
- 4.nc is the default post-process I get before editing.
- 41.nc is semi-edited.
This...
Hello,
so I hard reset the machine by pulling K-jumpers from the panels (thank you rklopp). From now on the machine is working fine. The error happened because in the post-process I forgot to put a program number behind %.
AutoDNC is working on Windows 10 (so I thought). It opens up and all...
Hello,
I'm spinning in a circle and can't get out of it.
Problem: I was sending G-code into Dialog 4. After the sending was done I switch from program BA14 on to BA9 an error occurred (error 70), pressed "?" typed N1, N2, N2, ...etc. to check if the code was there and everything looked OK...
Hello everyone,
I have bought Deckel FP 5 NC one month ago. I'm still waiting for electricians to come and plug the machine into electricity. In this time I studied my machine and it didn't run from Feb. 2019. Is there any threat to the computers and its memory when left unpowered for a long...
