  • Yes,I sold the Deckle in October. The new owner has it up and running on a static phase converter. I used a rotary type myself.
Did you sell the Deckel FP1 ? Sorry to bother you if you did just having a hard time trying to find one
I couldn't help myself on that one, thanks for the like.
thermite is "the" worst ... Better that I stop.
Mr. Wilson, I am stunned at the craftsmanship you displayed in the recent thread about stamps! Hats off! Some day when I get my business going, I would like to ask you to make me a stamp for my products. I wonder if it's feasible to put an R inside a C (upper case C with an upper case R inside the curve of the C, however you wanna look at it). Too much surface area to punch in one hammer strike?

    Hi George,
I read on here that you have a friend here in Australia with a Kondia mill. I have just purchased a second hand one which is missing some parts. I wonder if you could pass on my email address to your friend, so that I may talk to him about this and perhaps get some pictures or even visit him.

    My email is [email protected]

I'm guessing you are the same George Wilson who also posts on the H-M web site? If so, I have really enjoyed seeing your work.
    Thanks.
    Darren
My first time to ask a question. Hope I have correct protocol and you are still active. I have a "new" Volstro milling head. Cannot mount it on my Bridgeport. Drawbar does not extend far enough to clear top of head. Do you need an extended drawbar or am I not doing something right? Thanks, Phillip
    George, Greetings!
I was fascinated by your pencil. I suppose that mine is buried away in the safe with the chain for my gold Waltham that sort of goes with my masonic 'Morning suit'

It is now the time to start more visits and functions after the summer recess.
Would you be interested in me trying to photograph this little thing?

As for 'graphite', the Cumberland Pencil Company is in Keswick whilst over Skiddaw is the family home of Caldbeck where Great Grandma was schoolmistress.

Nothing to do with battleships- mining and sheep, perhaps.

    Cheers
    Norman
