DT-1 does not retract all the way in Z before moving X and Y
It's common for Haas, For normal machines and SS you need to have at least .1" clearance plane, During rapid moves it accelerates the other axes and slightly rounds corners. -

Adding mist filter to Haas machine
I have the rectangular hole on my VF4 and a 6" hole and standoff on my VF2 because of the way the HMI hangs over the front, not enough room on top to cut a direct rectangular hole. -

Yes Please, if you do this, please document well. I'm not a linux guy by any stretch of the imagination, I managed to get a CNC TIG welder going using it but if I wanted to update my linuxcnc distro, there is no way I could get it running again in any reasonable amount of time - so much changes... -

Rotary HRT210 Air Brake : Oil always blows out vent. oil all in line to Vent.
It could be as simple as the o-rings, 50 and 51 - specifically 51 failing. My 50 o-ring is failing but I'm replacing both when I go in. Another thing it could be is coolant getting onto the muffler, then dripping down the line, evaporating down to oil and that's maybe the oil coming out of it? -

New to me Haas Mini Mill
I run large lines in the shop but I have a 1/4" hose going to my VF2 at the moment - never any issues. The VF4SS is another story. It had 1/4" on it when I bought it, but now the smallest is 1/2" NPT. Where in MN are you? I have some used ER16's that I'm still using but would let go if you're... -

The MistAway unit works really well, I have two of them now, they don't get a ton of use though. VF-4SS Tool release piston retracting slow
Turns out it was the mufflers all along, The quick exhaust valves seemed to fix the banging now that it's getting a precharge, I tried removing one muffler before but it didn't seem to help, but it definitely did this time! 2 new mufflers and we're ready to go. -

Thanks for the input, I started with the cheapest components first, might be time to buy some new valves. I haven't tested draw bar pressure, I think it's about time to check that.
