I saw you post looking for small planer information. I have a 1860's-1870's Putnam planer with the cast in bird and ornate scoll work. It is perhaps one model earlier that the one that just sold on Ebay. I also have a model size planer with an 18 inch table that was probably built as an apprentice project by a toolmaker.Two guys can carry it away! A group of us went to Coolspring for the engine show years ago had each guy took a part of the machine in their luggage.
