Hope you get this message. I'm interested in "saving" an older atw lathe in Ames. Wondering if you or another Iowan might be willing to help out. Lathe would need transport to and temporary storage until I can get it to Minnesota. I would be willing to compensate you for time/expense of dealing with it. Nobody has bid yet and opening bid is pretty reasonable. If I can't line up help I will pass on this lathe (sadly), in which case if you can find another adoptor that would be great too. Winning bidder has 2 weeks to remove the machine. Thanks.
