My understanding is that killing coyotes will cause them to breed more. They are very adaptable animals. I saw one once in south philly just north of the Navy yard.
How does the inner clearance work when the driven shaft both rotates and slides up & down?. I've never had the bearings apart on mine. Is there an inner sleeve or something between the inner race of the bearings and the keyed shaft?

Wow, I never would have guessed that those drilling machines are still being made. I have an older flat belt one with the separate motor base. I really like it eventhou it was abused. Stupid silly overbuilt.
The other problem with motor oil is it is designed to be hydrophilic to absorb moisture inside the crankcase when the engine is off. Running the engine heats up the oil and drives off the absorbed water. Years ago I had a '64 VW beetle that developed foamy oil, which is odd for an air cooled...
I had a 7" AAMCO shaper for a while years ago. It looked cool but I never used it. Traded it for a 70lb Fisher anvil and some tongs, think I got the better end.
