    Unholy Modification

Is that part cast or just 'sheet metal'? To some, are machines just a tool that need to do the job. For nerds like us, it hurts to see something like this [emoji16][emoji16] Sendt fra min Redmi Note 9 Pro med Tapatalk

DMG Mori heavily advertising the new FP4M

Here in Denmark the "good old Vilhelm Pedersen" milling machines are long gone. But the name lives on. And now they 'make' thise. And some are sold to trade schools here. (It's a bit off topic I know). But there's still a marked for small manual mills in the trade school segment [emoji3526]...

My machine cleaning tip for Europeans

We use Biocircle SB100. NSF approved, and sprayed on. Let is sit for a minute, and old grease and coolant run straight off.. It's more expensive, but it works brilliant [emoji106] Sendt fra min Redmi Note 9 Pro med Tapatalk

Drive lugs on an FP2NC 40-taper spindle

May I ask why you are so 'afraid' of having the lugs/keys on the spindle? In my world, it doesn't matter. As long as there are two. And also beacuse the spindle speeds are relatively low, and the keys/mass are close to the center? Close to all mills have thise from the factory, and it's not a...

Mini Lathe - made in Europe

I'm surprised you don't know about the Danish SR80. SR80 Metaldrejebænke The second owner of the shop is an old man now, and he's about to close the production. After he took over the company, all lathes were build by him. Hand scraped every single bed, and so on [emoji3526] I have one, in...

Drive lugs on an FP2NC 40-taper spindle

They should be very easy to fabricate your own [emoji3526] I've made several. Material shouldn't be super critical as the taper should take the most of the force [emoji3526] Also any of thise mill will hardly be used for heavy milling or anything that should make the keys under pressure...

    Tos fngj 32

Hi Sorry to interrupt [emoji3526] I have a 1996 intos fngj20. Similar to the TOS I think It been unused for 10 years. I got it all working, - except the rapid-feed. When feed is running in any axis, and I push the rapid button, the motor just stalls. It's like both feed and rapid feed runs...
