  • Hi,
I am new in the forum.
I am in the market for an hydraulic box and pan folder 2500mm x 6mm and wanted some advise on types to buy.
Most of them seem to have similar mechanical features where the metal sheet is held down by fingers and then the plate is folded at one end. The Keetona hydroform clamps the plate with the fingers and the fold is done by lifting the metal sheet at both ends.
Is this a better method, making this a better machine?
Is there good Chinese machines out there?
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Andrea
    Morning
have a major concern. had this shaft impregnated into a gear sleeve. tried gravity, torch heat on gear sleeve, and 20+ ton press and still shaft would not come out.
finally it came out but after observation of shaft and sleeve, there was no metal scratches, dents, nor other things that could have hindered the removal. any suggestions why it was so stuck in there.
    Hi Jeff,
With regards to you point on coolant, (Coolant velocity should match wheel velocity, with high flow rates not being necessary).
Say we are filtering the returned coolant, the wheel size is on a sensor, and a electronic control valve is in place to keep flow rates at the set point of wheel surface speed. Is this type of system gilding the lily, or are you just saying keep the flow rate in line with the spindle speed as a rule of thumb?
    :o
    Kind regards

Is there a reason that I'm not able to start a thread in some forums? I need to ask a question in the Fabrication forum, but am not able to . Thanks, Mark
Last weekend I examined a small manual Lathe. The only tag on it said "FURNAS". In searching the net, only an electrical switch carried that name. Is there a lathe that was manuactured under the Furnas label? Southbend?
    Hello,
I recently posted a Flash Banner on this forum for edgethchnologyproducts.com. I would also like to post a few of our companies HD videos on the “Videos” section. Would this be OK to do? My plan is to post a separate thread for each of our products which will include a catalog page, a brief description of the product and a HD demo video. Are there any restrictions that I should be aware of?
    Thank you,
    Sean
