When I got to the longest point of the room (corner to corner) there was over...

Where to buy high-density closed-cell foam? How to cut?

you could use the pink or blue styro-foam from your local big box.... say about 1" thick - cut to size of your tool box drawer and then use a hot tipped soldering iron to "melt" holes custom fit for each socket. Sure is nice if you see an empty hole then you know there is a socket missing. The...

    ot...residential wiring Q

I upgraded a fire alarm system in a retirement home and used a couple of hundred of those hooks to support the cable in the attic. But that was classified as a low voltage install. I am sure that the hooks can be used as a method of suporting romex aslo. Check with local elec. to make sure.

OT never to old ...or young...to learn.

The other day I picked up some salt blocks for the cattle, and instead of taking them to the feed bin, the truck was beside the shop so I put them inside. It was raining that day and quite humid out but never thought nothing of the equipment in the shop. ( we have only had a lathe in there...

OT - Ever scrapped a perfectly good machine by accident??

Found a skill saw in the dump. Wondered if it worked. Took it home and pluged it in. Worked perfectly. Probably would have worked better for the old owner if he would have put the new blade on the RIGHT way. 1 for me 0 for him.
