Machining a Famco #1 Arbor Press pinon gear

have it waterjet cut. (assuming you have enough of the original to use as a pattern) its not exactly a high speed item, as long as you use a hard enough steel, accuracy is much less of a concern than, say, a transmission gear.

yup, I am on SS. I get a bit below the average, as I was self employed for a lot of years. In the world in general, I am much wealthier than half the entire global population, as half the people on earth live on six bucks a day or less. How that affects the fact that wealthy Russians have fled...

There is a reason the “ five towns” in western Minnesota, where many finns first landed for more than 50...

I spend a lot of time in Argentina and the immigration system is overwhelmed with 30,000 new russia immigrants since the war, and they all seem to have kids in $500 strollers. Which, coincidentally is the average monthly wage for half of argentines. Meanwhile in Sri Lanka, a quarter of a...

Ox, you may be younger than I am - my grandparents were all born before 1910, and my great grandma was borm in the 1880s in Sweden. Those are the generations I think of when I talk about immigrants who still spoke native languages in the home. That side of the family grew up in western MN where...

The Italians were "gangsters" when they first came. Same with the Irish. And, just like the people from central america, only a very few were actually criminals. I know that my wife's family didnt come thru Ellis Island- in around 1915, her aunt clara, a baby, was carried across the bridge from...
