Without a photo it is hard for me to envision this on your machine. However on my Kellner, there is just a 1/4" round rod that drops into the half round toothed section. It seems weird that this holds the work securely when the screw of the movable jaw is tight but it does.- Superbowl

Can this precision level be calibrated?
I am thinking it was calibrated at the factory with a small wedge that I bet is hidden under that plaster. The only way to tell is to chip out the plaster. -
why are laser cleaning machines so expensive?
They easy way to clean stuff with light is just to set your phaser to stun and have at it. At least that is what Scotty told me. -
Tig practic. Do I need to have the gas on?
Just blow on it, the CO2 in your breath will act as a welding gas. When we used to use this technique we called it a blow job.- Superbowl

Some BP parts are likely interchangeable. Some may work with a little filing and fiddling. You can always resell anything you can't use on Ebay. I bought parts there to fix up my real deal BP.- Superbowl

I lucked out again on the Eclipse.
You guys really don't understand. If you are not in the zone of totality (100% total coverage) you really never saw the eclipse. Even 99% does not give you the experience. I agree, just seeing the moon take a bite of the sun is ho hum. At 99% the sun is still too bright to take off your glasses...
