    I have been advised to check with you as to Old South Bend lathe identification. This lathe either was old enough for no serial number, or abused enough to obliterate the number. Before trying to send pictures

    My lathe is a SB-9A S/N 43228NKR9, Catalog # CL344A and according to the LeBlond card, shipped to the Packard Machinery Co., Cambridge, Mass. on Nov. 5 1958.

    My SB Serial # is 147057 I believe it was built in 1945 (I got and misplaced the serial number card) ... it is a 3 1/2 ' bed B-Model that I have converted to an A-Model during the restoration...
    so what would a " New " as it is now, correct, Catalog number be ??????????
