I will finally be getting the drywall in the ceiling of my garage this summer. Would like to put a lift point in it before the drywall goes up. Trusses are 2' on center. WTB: Horizontal Bandsaw
Look for an old Johnson or Kysor Johnson. 10x18 envelope, 3/4 or 1" blade. Coolant. Small enough to fit in a home shop. Big enough to do real work for half a century. I built high end bathrooms for 30+ years. Like any other trade, if the customer wants it you figure out a way to do it. First thing you do is Ignore those who suggest you just use more caulk. Yours looks nice. I cleaned mine up and painted it about a month ago. The stand I got with it was a nice design and very sturdy but shop made and rather crude. I cut some of it apart and rewelded it, lowered it and and sanitized it so it looks nicer. One thing I notice in your second photo is...- Ultradog MN
