And another thing ... why did the special effects experts make such obvious "errors," like no stars, multiple light sources, no dust on landing pads, waving flag, etc.?
Having lived through all this (I'm an 80 year old fart), my opinion (I know, who cares) is: given the state of movie special effects in 1969, it would have been WAY more difficult to fake a moon landing than to actually do one.
