    Recently you asked me to add an OT tag to my question, here . I don't see a edit button (It's probably been too long), but I wanted to know, If the question is indeed off topic for "General", where should I have put it? It's defiantly about a machine that needs fixed.

    Nelson Timken previous starter and owner of Hobby Machinist, a.k.a. the Rifleman, ImAllThumbs, etc.,etc., used to spoof his IP all the time to keep one step ahead of being caught by Don.
    Nelson: spammer, lawyer and general scumbag.

    As far as spammers, I generally watch the IP information for clues. The ISP can sometimes be a giveaway even for spoofers. They change their "location" but the ISP can often still out them. Also look for shared IP addresses between users/members.
