Thanks again for the help everyone! Buying the steel in 10" rolls would be ideal and I have a buddy who has a "very old" Buffalo angle roller I could buy for 10k I'm just not 100% sure on how to extend the rolls? You guys are great! Thank you for all your replies! I talked with the customer and showed him a couple options first option was having the 2" lip/flange in four separate pieces (nesting on the plasma) it works but takes way to long to weld and grind maybe if I were a better welder but sadly I'm...- pbmachine

I have no clue what the easiest,fastest,correct method for rolling a 8" piece of 11ga. Mild steel into a 30" I.D. my problem is the 8" piece needs a 2" ring on top of it and customer would like it to be in one piece. Is this possible? What machine is needed? Anyone know how to roll a 8"piece of 11ga. Mild steel 30" I.D. with a 2"lip? How I'm doing it now is rolling the 8"piece in a small slip roller to my 30" then cutting the 2" lip (ring) out of a full sheet of 11ga. (I get two per sheet) I'm thinking of buying an angle roller so I can just shear...
