Finding a Used Lathe w/ Sub Spindle?
My SL-200SMC is a year 2000. Basically a Fanuc 18i-TA. Mori has their overlay they call MSC-501. It has full multi column Offsets pages, a Handy Measure and + Input function like many Fanucs of this vintage. Finding a Used Lathe w/ Sub Spindle?
Look at mid-late 90's to mid 20's Mori Seiki SL-150SMC or SL-200SMC. Nice, fast way machines. Servo driven Turret is full live. Solid machine. Fanuc control. Parts catcher. Tool Pendent-(never use mine. Too much hassle. These days should be well under 30k.- 13engines

Aluminum endmill, floor finish
It might help to know what machine this is being run on and what it's sitting on. They make end mills with end wiper flats. Could try those. If slowing down works with your setup, then that's what you might just have to do.- 13engines

I'll 2nd everything moonlight said. You have a good stiff machine there. I had a 220 which was a smaller 2 axis version of what you have. From here it looks like you have a Dynapath control. That spindle nut looks like an Erickson Quick Change type. Not certain from here.- 13engines

Thanks tons Vancbiker. I'll try a restart first. If that fails I'll try the card. Is the one in the pic proper for this? I used this on my 18i lathe were the slot is next to the screen. Drill break though on angled surface. Any suggestions?
Don't have my constants cheat sheet with me, but I think the tip of that drill (thinking 135 deg) is going to be about 0.13 long. Program or set your stop accordingly.
