Hard Milling over 60Rc? Coolant/Air
I like using coolant with ball cutters as well. That tip of the ball is essentially dragging and not cutting. Coolant helps. With square and radius corner I usually cut dry. Does anyone have the LNS high pressure coolant system? This one came with it. Our other Genos has the MP system which has a big reservoir tank, as well as our hermles. This unit has no tank. I saw a Zimmerman in the wild at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology. They had a few cool machines there but I was most impressed with the site work and foundation they poured for the zimmerman.- PegroProX440

New Tool Holder recommendations
A mix of tool steel, aluminum and a little bit of ss and exotics. Its a little bit of everything here. Primarily its going to be a finishing machine for us for injection molds. Hardened h13, s7, 420 and p20. and yes on the spindle- PegroProX440
