A two bearing generator can be belt or driven other than direct. A single bearing generator bolts up to the SAE bell housing and is aligned by the rabbet fit to the housing. It must be direct drive. -

I spent 25 years in the scrap business and can't make sense of most of your post. What do you me4an by "scrapper"? Scrap dealer? Guy with a pickup gathering where and what he can find? What is d1? Why would bronze go to the Caribbean? Do you understand how brokers work at all? WTF difference... -

Usually this arrangement credits the scrap to the new material invoices. It is at a premium price because the mill knows the material chemistry. -

Torque Question
Seeing these pix it appears to be a hammer mill type. The important thing is not to pinch the hammers so they do not swing freely. That explains the Lock tite requirement and no torque spec. -

Stamped brass oil removal.
Acetone and all alcohols are polar solvents and very limited ability to dissolve oils. All they have going for them is ability to wash off with water. Any kind of tumbling will leave marks. If they are indeed bullet jackets then the subsequent swaging op will likely remove these marks. If not... -

What's involved with making a gas block adjustable?
It needs to be more than a set screw, Should have a tapered Stem and seat. It is a very nice thing to have. 50 years ago I had an FN model 1949. It was 7X57 and it had such an adjustment. Open it to much and it could rip off a piece of the rim and throw the case 20 feet or more. Tune it in and...- tdmidget

Tracing mixture of a lead bullet by the FBI.
The same for markings on a fired case . With todays CNC machines one machine could produce hundreds of breech faces that would mark a case identically. Without a tool change I can't see any human distinguishing one from another.- tdmidget

Anyone have a centerless grinding shop I can visit?
The Dedtru by itself is useless. When you add the size of a surface grinder the Royal master is likely smaller. And I am sure that a make-do like that will not hold a candle to the accuracy and productivity of the Royal Master.- tdmidget

Your ignorance is showing. By international treaty access to the Black Sea is controlled by Turkey, or whatever they are today. They are allowing NO military vessels passage. Ukraine has eliminated at least 4 naval vessels of the Russian Navy. No replacements.- tdmidget
