    OT- source for an inexpensive screw jack?

    All- I am doing a buildout for a club on a volunteer basis and need a source for eight screw jacks at low cost. The design I need is as follows and a 500 pound load is sufficient. Any ideals where to buy some of these cheap? Thanks all.

    OT-butt join 1/2" fiberglass solid rod

    Are these always solid glass rod? I’d think that would be sort of clunky to have in the boats kit. Want to drop by my shop? I have a 20’ stick of heavy wall 5/8 or 3/4 6061 which would be decent for this - just plug and point a section.

    OK.. So the trigger pin on this Browning Hi Power is .1182" The specification for that pin is .117" so no doubt the Cylinder & Slide trigger was reamed for the OEM pin. This gun is one of the Israeli military buy-backs and it is my understanding that these guns have a number of build requests...

The trigger came with a very slightly undersize pivot hole and as I was reaming it to size I went very slightly oversized.     No long, thick or wide stock available and to get it much more $. I remember paying $11 a foot. I’d say the good old days are gone.
