the other part is, leaving the floor finish from a roughing toolpath is just bad practice because you wont have a nice finish. the whole tenessee floor finish thing was a joke between some instamachinist guys anyway, lol. i HOPE nobody actually does that seriously on purpose.- empower

Esprit vs NX programming time with full sim
saratech is ok at CAD stuff with NX, but i've found them to be lacking in the CAM side of things. if they're willing to spend money to get it set up right, go with Design Fusion, Jean there is a fucking ninja with NX posts/simulation. i personally know people that are doing 5 axis mill/turn with... -

New shop considering NX Cam.
our VAR is saratech, and they're ok, but for CAM stuff, posts etc - we use design fusion, and they are fantastic. biggest thing i didnt like about hypermill is the awful archaic CAD. drawing or modifying geometry is extremely primitive, same as mastercam. if you're used to that way of... -
