    Thanks, as others mentioned i'll be keeping my main job but putting a lot of time into this before going head first. The mini mill is something id like to get and its relatively inexpensive compared to the vf1 but i'm also looking into the tm-1p as well.

    appreciate the advice, Ill be taking classes at my local college. My brother might be able to get me an apprenticeship position with a machine shop he gets work done from. I'm hands on learner so that would be beneficial for me.
