    SeanShanny Great to see another shaper saved and gone to a good home. Please post photos of your progress getting the shaper up and running. Power down feed is a real plus. Noticed the lock block on the table support as these are usually missing. I have a G&E also and really enjoy using it. Be safe.

    Radial Arm Drill

    ThatGuysFarm I have a 100 year old American with a #6 taper . Has 6 ft. of reach. It has a 7 1/2 hp motor. Weighs about 12 to 14 k lbs. and is located on the Alabama coast. It is FREE for removal.

    jbacc If you have not done so, p3bhambama and G-ManBart are restoring shapers on the G & E 16" shaper thread. They are just starting the process. I'm sure they would welcome any input.

    jbacc I have used mine for similar work. Recently used the shaper to make Tee nut blanks for 3/4 bolts from 2 in. bar.

    p3bhambama Good score on the tool holders. Having a selection to choose from will make work easier to do down the road. Being able to use high speed tool bits is a plus for shapers. Keep the progress moving ahead, we are all waiting to see it working.
