    How to change OptiCam Post Process to imperial

    I am programming in OptiCam on PEPS MillTurn Version: 8.2.0 Build: 1 The units for dimensioning and all aspects of the programming are in standard English (imperial) but I spits out metric for the G-Code when I run it through Post-Process. Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Alright, problem may have been fixed. I switched to 2-Flute 1/8" .015"x 1/2" F/L w/ *ALTiN* Running DOC .060" S6646 F5.3 I have ran 2 parts through. Cutter sounds good and part looks A+++ Thank you.

    My tool is only hanging out of the collet about .550" practically as short as I can get the stickout without tightening on the flutes (obviously b/c the flutes are 1/2). I just ran up to a local tool supplier and I have gotten 2 Flute 1/8 End Mills on my lunch break. I am not trying to be vague...

    should I change to a 2 or 3 flute with a .030 rad? typically what I run an 1/8" EM 4FL is S3361 F6.7 should I go back to that S and F? we have our sister company programming these tools down in Illinois and I have been proofing it out and it has NOT been good.

Not sure what that means DOC: .090" WOC: 1.6" (I do not program but spoke with the Engineer/Programmer and told him to take a radial cut of less than 1/2 the Diameter of the cutter, in this case i told him probably no more than 1.3")...

    After some digging online I found the catalog and used their recommended speeds and feeds to establish the following: S624 F25. gonna give this a go at .090" DOC and report back!
