OT-register domain name - what do i really need?

I just renewed my domain for 5 years in Feb. It's registered through Verio.com. Cost for 5 years was $109.95. The monthly nut for hosting my site is $32.99 to Web.com. Simple site, no ecommerce, never updated.

I'm using web.com and am happy. Forget the monthly cost but it seems cheap.

bridge straight edge out of steel

    I forgot one operation in the calc. Yeah, more like $4/lb. 12.25 x 2.75 x 12 x .283 = .114. $445 / 114 = $3.90. Anyway it's available from the easiest supplier ever in numerous sizes.

    FP4NC with NC-T400

I was wishing that was the case. I had a booster box with me. Not so though, I had the seller holding the pump switch and while it screamed I reefed on the 1.5 ton Lugall supplementing the pull of the cylinder. I was convinced we were on the edge of breaking the trailer or bending the linkage...

    FP4NC with NC-T400

FWIW that trailer was rated at 5000 lbs. Towed OK but didn't even come close to lifting the machine when I pushed the up button, just blew through the relief valve. After I had it off, my 5K forklift struggled a lot to move it. Then I put it on a 5K pallet jack, it was clearly overloaded and a...

    FP4NC with NC-T400

I rented one of those to move a FP4NC with a standard table. The hydraulics would not lift the deck with the machine on it. Caused some consternation on a Sunday 4 states away from home, but managed to get it up using a lugall to assist.

anyone dealt with Global Demolition selling carbide, etc?

That's where I sold mine most recently. I picked out the cermets, weighed the box and showed him a photo of the weight on the scale, he paid me exactly as agreed.

So is oak wood a good thing or bad thing? Some Gerstners are oak aren't they? Here's a photo of the outside of the box.

WTB Sjogren 5C Speed Chuck. D1-6 Lathe mount AND Hardinge Taper Nose

FWIW All the ones I've handled ran out at the front taper for the collet. Disassembling cleaning etc made no difference on any. So on my 2, 5C and 3J, I hard turned the collet taper with CBN. Now they repeat within .0001 when removed and replaced on the spindle taper and the accuracy is as good...

Yeah well I learned a few things along the way. Again. :)

WTB Sjogren 5C Speed Chuck. D1-6 Lathe mount AND Hardinge Taper Nose

I also discovered the internals vary from model to model of the same collet size. I was given a worn out D1-6 3J model, it was too far gone and rusted to resuscitate. So I bought a D1-8 3J from a PM member thinking I would swap the internals into the D1-6 body. Turned out everything was similar...

Ah, thanks for that eKretz. I have one like that also, I didn't understand that they were different inside, and didn't look closer. I don't remember this from RJ's discussions here.
