Gotta cut an ejection port like cut CNC or manual?

This cut kinda looks like a custom ejection port on a 1911. Has a dbl angle. I got a basic 3 axis CNC. Laying the workpiece in the vise long ways, slot would be along the X axis. Now this thing has an angle in the YZ plane ( part is tilted towards the column say about 45 degree) and another...

Anyone interested in OD green anodizing dye?

Gotta get some dedicated anodizing dye and looks like my best deal is $60 shipped for sixty gallons worth of dye. My anodizing line is nowhere near that big. Anybody wanna split that with me? $30 plus whatever a small USPS flat rate box will cost for 30 gallons worth of OD green anodizing...

    Anodizing Dyes

    Anodizing Dyes

Need a good source for anodizing dyes say 5 gallons at a time. Don't mind powders or liquids. My best experience with black was not using just the Caswells stuff alone, but also mixing in some of the RIT stuff, but they don't have an OD green. Anyone know where I can get OD Green RIT powder...

    containing coolant

gonna see if I can do anything mechanical or magnetic to mount plexi to left side of table. Same to mount plexi to vise. something that can quickly be laid down when changing workpieces and goes back up when my hands are out of the way.

    containing coolant

Noise aint too bad. Computer screen can't be moved up only out of the way. T slot covers have holes in them and coolant goes by nicely. Its the stuff that gets sprayed when face milling or using 3/8 inch cutter or bigger that is annoying me. All over the floor. No spraying in this vid. Just...

    containing coolant

Using MDF trim to test CNC programs

I see somewhere else on the internet they show how MDF can kill HSS cutters. Small stuff like 1/4" or less for aluminum jobs I do HSS cause my top speed only 7500 RPM so no sense in carbide. What kind of wood should I use that won't chip or crack? Remember, cheap and disposable is also a...
