    Tramming a mill without moving the head ?

    I wanted to correct some information.... the table is 4 thousands high on the back side, which would indicated the saddle is sagging from wear. I don't know if there's a way to correct this other than shimming the work piece

    Eagle Cnc machine 54x10

    I'm looking at this machine , it's in really good shape , box weighs ... 30 taper. Barely used. Comes with the vise and a crazy amount of tooling. I know the anilam crusader is an older system. What is a fair asking price for this ?

    First time scraping

    Yes there are scratches , I think those came from the stone I was using to remove burrs. I'm just using a biax 20 blade . This is steel, it came off the mill , surface finish was shit.

    Jet GHB-1440a reversing switch wiring

    Watch the magnetic contactors when you turn the lathe on, there should be one for forward and one for reverse. It's possible that the wiring is not correct the coil . Check for line voltage at the magnetic starters. Post pictures of the switch terminals

    So I checked it again and the table is out as I said about .004 at a span of about 7 inches . I installed the vise and got it trammed it Within a .0005 . So I guess the question is .... if the vise or material is trammed in , does it matter if the table isn't ? I need to get a manual. The real...

    I generally just bring the table up until the ends of the dial indicator touch , zero them out and lower the table. Check for differences
