My interest is looking at somebodies way of interpreting current and voltage readings at the output of a VFD.
And then adjusting the PWM pulse widths accordingly. Flow charts or just anything that describes how it is done.
That is just writing up to three timer counter registers with the next...

All I have is a door with interlock switch. The is a 240 VAC to 120 VAC transformer and the VFD.
The 120 VAC is used outside the VFD enclosure box. It powers a digital pressure switch and some other circuits.
From the small 120 VAC box...
The volume is 120 gal so the motor is on longer than for a smaller tank. Should I use 15 Hp and not 10?
For $100 more the components are rate 50% higher.
10 Hp.

I bought this used years ago and tried it out. It hissed at me and I though it was a air gasket leak, or something worse.
So I shelved it until a month ago. Turns out the long dryer (horizontal) has a air vent and it is working as designed.
The original idea was to use it as a small station for...

Page 10 says DuPont's Ti-Pure R-933 is used. Notice the complaint about titanium dioxide.
What can be added to a industrial grade paint to make it tough for a work floor?
The silica packs that...

MSD-04-KB2D (The longest one on page 1)
On page 4 the water molecules vent through the hole (7). There is a 1.5" x 3" cover plate covering the vent hole.
When under pressure the canister makes a slight hissing sound due to air flow out the vent...
I notice that the import 8' tubes (what else) lose 12" segments. But when turned off the unlit segment flashes for a second.
The segments start to go off starting at the ends and move to center. Points to the inverters. Tempted to build only one beefy inverter
and wire everything for low...
Yes, I know about the rules.
OT: It was a mistake to delete the recent thread about somebody with the cold in his shop and mood. His emoji image looked like from the Marine Corp.
Maybe he is a vet. The thread could have been left active for a few days and then deleted.
I sent him a message but I think that isn't good enough.
And about that junk that comes in after 1AM PT. And I have a recommendation for that.
In that typical junk post time period just display a "Forum...
I'm using a nozzle opening about 3/16" and the results with small parts are good.
A 15" x 24" aluminum shows the streaks because of the narrow circular pattern.
Anyone make a custom tip to flow a fan pattern instead of the usual circle? Like on a paint gun.
I'm thinking about make a nozzle with...
Or wax on parts that will stay at room temperature?
To avoid a difficult tear down when everything freezes up years down the road because Vactra #4 was used.
And then there are the stains on the once cleanly cut metal.
In my specific case it will be aluminum 6061, S.S. 303, & S.S. 440C. All...
I need to strengthen a 7" boring bar from 3/8" to 3/4" size. I didn't expect that this 3/8" boring bar would start doing poorly at 3" extension.
Just cutting aluminum with .004 depth. Tried two different inserts. The finish looked like I was using a Holtzapffel lathe.
I don't know why the 3/8"...
Do some light cuts and use a stopwatch to chart the numbers 0 - 100 on the feed box to real fpm numbers.
I'm turning down a 7" long 1" diameter bar of mystery steel for this test.
The Machinery Handbook: rpm = 3.82 x fpm.
Has anyone made a chart for translating 0 - 100 to fpm?
I got lucky because my Iscar boring bar has a setscrew thread of 4mm - 0.7 thread. And my stock pile has some of those.
I'm making another setscrew for these inserts and noticed that the original setscrew has a wear mark less than half the contact area.
The real point of contact is a thin ring...
