Can a maho or deckel milling machine, with a universal (axis tilt, swivel, and rotate) table, dial any axis errors out
due to wear aging?

Hi All,
I'm just getting back with BobCad, and I've been working with a
part OK, simulation and all, but now I can't get it to post or simulate.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help,

Hello all,
Are you getting cabin fever yet?
Would it be possible to use NMTB40 tooling on a FP4NC
by replacing the hydraulic pull stud sustem with a NMTB
draw bar, or is there not enough from at the top for
the NMTB draw bar neck?
If there is not enough room at the top could I cut off
the...
Hi all,
I have been looking at a FP4NC and I was wondering if the control
cabinet could be placed to the left side of the mill, with the cabinet
door opening to the left. Normally the cabinet is placed at the rear,
but this makes for a very deep footprint (136").
The cable conduit would be...
Hi All,
I am looking for a Deckel fp2,3,4NC, working or not working with
a universal table. I would prefer a 'flip-head', but would consider
an earlier version.
I don't want to have to import one from Europe.

I don't get the "new post" when I'm logged into PM and I go to the WANTED thread.
So how do I tell people I am looking for a working/non working deckel fp2,3,4,NC, with
the universal table?
Paul
Hi Guys,
I am looking at a FP3NC mill that uses pull studs, can
you use a pull stud on a NMTB40 tool holder, that will work?
Can you buy pull studs that are for that, or can I make
my own that will work.
Is there room in the FP3nc spindle for the 3/4" extension on
the NMTB40 tool holder?
Paul
Hi All,
I was reading the previous post concerning trouble with the
Z axis and the over-ride clutch. Ross seemed to intimate
that there may no trouble with the Z axis galling near
the top of the axis travel on the flip-head models- is this true?
Do the flip-head models have this galling...
Hi All,
I have been looking at several FP4NC, and some say they
have a 6,300 rpm spindles, but the spindles look different.
The newer ones are rectangular with a 45 degree slope near
the top, and some of them are a raised rectangular face with
what looks like two round shapes on top, which I...
Hi All,
Can an older 3150 rpm FPxNC be retrofitted with the new style
flip-head 6,300 rpm spindle?
I'm still looking for a FPxNC that's for sale.
I responded to the,"Deckel FP3-NC Dialog 3, possibly parting out, retrofit ideas, etc."
but I never got any response from 1000EE. 1000EE, if your...
Hi All,
Has anyone shipped a Deckel mill from Germany, and
if so, how much did it cost, and what all was involved?
What would be the best way to do it? Suggestions on
shippers?
Thanks for any help,
Paul Hoffman

Hi All,
I bought a supposed CBN surface grinding wheel on ebay.
The wheel was marked "MR" "D2291". I have never heard of
that brand of wheel, and the D2291, sounds like it should be
a diamond wheel.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All,
Looking at euro mills, trying to decide which way to go.
How does the dialog 3 CNC control compare to the dialog 4, and can the 3
be upgraded to a 4? Is it easy to up grade and is it worth it?
What are the good and bad features of the 3 VS the 4?
Best Regards,
Paul
