Has any one purchased a blank 4 degree tapered chuck mounting plate from the Hardinge copy makers
Hardinge does not supply them any more
I can get a Buck chuck with the correct fitting but I want to mount a special small chuck.
Cyclomatic can supply but I am not sure ?

I believe that if the filling cap is not replied properly the reservoir gets filled with the coolant.

Second rate yes bit of an over statement on my part
I like the Hardinge as its got a gearbox, carriage drive that's independent of the chuck speed etc etc
What has amazed be is the level of engineering that has gone into making the lathe.

I have just purchased a 1984 Hardinge HLV-EM lathe with most of the attachments and over 100 collets
