Not sure where you got this info. I can say DI is no magic bullet in regards to rust, in my experience. The coolant dries so clean, you can be exposed to surface rust when I used D.I. that's nearly the productivity model (with pallet pool) plus training which isn't cheap. 3R table chuck for pallets plus the pool and intermediate door are the only things missing, i guess. The other guys are 250-350 more, none of which are torque motor 4/5th axis nor the have the Step-Tec...- mkd

Yes on automation options from mild to wild. 3R is the wholly owner subsidiary that handles tooling and wilder side of automation solutions. 6 axis robot loading cast iron engine blocks in 100 pallet pool? yep. Every shop with a 3 axis on up should look at the 3R tooling catalog.- mkd

Please ask about at least getting the automation option pre-installed. That's the part that makes field install difficult if not impossible. If you price 'the other guys' pallet pools, the E500U with it, starts to look like a no brain'er. If it's rolled into the monthly payment, i'd venture to...- mkd
