What model is that?
The Royal is is squirrel cage fan IIRC, piece of foam and drain port. They consider that good enough for your lungs, so it can also go outside. If you try at all to do some reclaim (good fan type, blow it into something that can catch some and drain it) I'll bet you'll be...
a Royal is just a loud ass fan with a little centrifuge action and a piece of foam and a drain line. I'm just missing the foam and drain line, and I use a quiet $60 fan. I was looking at HRV units for a while. Looking at the spec sheets, they really seemed like bs. Not really doing any heat...
My setup was $200 plus a couple hours for the bare bones get the crap out of my face. I lose more to evap. but good enough until I have time to fancy it up. Blowing the crap back into the shop is a losing scenario for me. I'd rather spend money on a little conditioned air lost than having my...
I had a Royal Mist Creator for a while. Yeah, so you're not supposed to turn it on and off with each cycle, so it sits there and runs (and loud), forced convection through a wet box, creating more mist..
Just blow it outside. I had it where I had return air back from outside, so the enclosure...
My policy renews every year. If I want to ditch them, I just opt to not renew. Maybe there's a cost to cancel mid year? I can't think what else they'd be talking about.
Man, that's weird about them changing stuff on your policy. They've been fairly squared away for me. I've had three claims. Bumped a spindle when I was just starting out (should have just eaten that one), got robbed 10k. Just recently shop heavily damaged in fire, about 200k. No hassles on any...
cold turkey is the only way to go. Congrats. It gets easier the longer it's been. I failed multiple times before it worked. If you can make it 3 months, you got it. Good luck
pardon my ignorance, but I don't see any links to the collets. Are they special? MSC seems to indicate it just uses ER16 collets? i'm trying to understand how they are so much better if they just use run of the mill ER16 collets. I must be missing something
Just received my 1.75 gauge length 3/8" dual contact side locks. Thanks Frank and Tom at Maritool!
Kinda wish they had a new products section to see what's just in.

I use calipers a lot, so they always end up on a table or cart with other stuff and risk getting knocked off. The magnets holding the calipers on are fairly small. I've never witnessed residual magnetism in any other the metal items I use magnets on routinely. I appreciate the feedback...
I was needing something like this and didn't like the cheapo ones out there. Hogged out of solid billet!

You lost me on that one. I'm saying no math is required for a torque wrench that doesn't have an interchangeable head. It would make sense that the interchangeable type are calibrated with a standard attachment on the end (1/2 drive or so), but it's not clear on the one I have that it has been.
yup, but a torque wrench with just a square drive at the end shouldn't have this. Maritool told me their "regular" SK16s will be going away eventually and only be offering the high torque version.
