How much could I lift?
LVL manufacturers provide load tables however the problem is they are usually in lb per foot which doesn't help you because if you added up the distributed load it would be different than the point load rating at the center. What don't you understand about belt drive systems? The diameter of one pulley over the other is going to give you the reduction are. I would think belt manufacturers are going to spec ratings for speed and load. Did you have more specific questions? I would look into ultralight aircraft... -

Normal operation for air/oil spindle?
I have the same issue as the OP, air oil spindle uses a lot of air when idle and never turns off when stopped. It would be nice to be able to have the machine powered up without using so much air. Does anyone know if there is a parameter to set to turn off the air when on but idle. I'm about to...- goldenfab

Where can I rent a pickup that allows more than 10000# trailer towing?

I finally figured out how to get a prompt to PUNCH out ALL programs. The handle selector has to be in EDIT mode. There was a program on the machine from the previous owner and I created two others. Yes the guy I bought it from said it was a '95 model. The drawings in the manual are dated '95 and the accuracy test from Kit was signed and dated Jan '96.
