When the "bad guy" turns his head over his shoulder and looks back, I assure you he will still be surprised that you weren't taking your wallet out for him. I personally don't agree with that assessment at all. You're in the situation until you're not, when did you ever lose the element of...
This positioner is complete but I have never used it, and I believe it was also a backup that was never used for the previous owner who I got it from.
The surface on it now is in good shape, 54" square. It is slightly larger than a Ransome 15k positioner we have, so I suspect it is in the 15k...
I don't and wouldn't open carry personally. (Similar reasons as others have stated)
That said.. Freedom is scary, Deal with it. That guy probably disliked you as much as you disliked him. If you're happy about some things in this country, but unhappy about others, That's an indicator you live...
So you went to an auction where a company had an old forklift that didn't run so they replaced it with a brand new forklift that ran really nice, and somehow that's what made their business fail? And they are stupid for doing it? Huh?
If you think I should count on my buddies who tinker with...
Keeping an old forklift running, or having a brand new forklift are too wildly different things. Maybe they just wanted a brand new forklift. Maybe they needed two forklifts. Maybe their accountant told them to spend 40 grand. Who knows.
"Fixing a $5,000 problem with a $500,000 solution. Why...
I use the CC processing through Chase, were our business accounts are. I add 5% to the invoice after making it clear , and I think I am charged a little over 3% by Chase iirc. No one has complained to pay the added expense.
I had square once upon a time and don't remember having any issues...
Are you sure the Frito lay trucks are not CNG? I know of lots of larger companies running natural gas trucks, but nothing on propane that I know of. I assume the biggest natural gas advantage is that you can put pumps in at your warehouses for your own trucks. Since natural gas is already piped...
Well it sounds like whether you wanted to or not you're getting in there and learning how to be your own water jet tech. That's good, even if it sucks haha. btdt
Can you share the specs your cutting at? What material? thickness, cut speed, and Z height from material surface. How are you setting...
What do you expect to get out of this? You are a stranger with a cheaper end CNC router who's only other interaction here was trying to sell this same router in question for a silly price (imo), or trade for a Robodrill, or "nice 3d printers + cash".....
Maybe the same reason you can't...
I also just purchased an American 48in lathe shaped chunk of iron in Michigan. I was going through some of the publications on vintage machinery for that , and found a bit of marketing material with their take on the flatways versus V-Ways. Just thought I would add it to this discussion since it...
I'd like to get this thing in the shop and start using it, but that seems a bit longer away now with my schedule. Probably be in storage for at least a month or two first, before I have time for it. Haven't even had energy to pull it off the truck yet...
I'm well aware of different machine way designs, and have owned many of all types. Anything I've posted in this thread is in direct relation to the lodge and Shipley in this thread. Not meant as general discussion about machine design. I assume anyone on here would know what a box way is.
I...
I am aware of the different types of machine way designs. I am asking more in particular to the L&S Model X. I have seen the manuals and brochures, but haven't found anything that detailed why they choose this design, and also their reason for moving away from it..etc. if they ever gave any...
It sure looks like a turning knob. Are you sure that the small thumbscrew doesn't screw through into the larger knob to hold them tight through the handle?
I have some old turbo torch heads and they all use a knob for adjustment. Though none of mine match the looks of yours.
