I put a Sinpo II-3M DRO (eBay cheap O some time ago) on my MSC mill. While it is a China one it does work fine and supports bolt hole patterns, linear drilling, etc., except for the Y coordinate.

South Bend 10K Collet Questions -2 The collets I have are Hardinge 6K.
1) Is there a 3/4" collet, any brand? I can not seem to find any such size - I think it is just too large ID for lathe.
2) Also, is there any way to adapt "something" so a 5C collet could be used. (Again I doubt it.)
NOT an expert!! I was trying to figure out if a "special" type wheel is needed for grinding lathe tool bits which incorporate some cobalt. I figure the percent is a factor as well, so I will base my question on a lower percent value, say 2~6%.
