Coolant pump in my Victor Horizontal bandsaw crapped out. It was a Graymills 1/8hp 230V 3Ph. They are really proud of these. Found an AMT pump on Amazon for ALOT less $$ with the same specs, and appears to be USA made. Anybody use these pumps?
Thanks,
5N Aluminum Tube 0,050" Wall cast tube. How do I hold onto it for finishing operations without crushing it or "sizing" it smaller? Even in a 5C collet it seems to get smushed down, I need it to be a pretty tight sliding fit inside another tube. Pair of scissors handle in photo for scale...

Starting to look at a design for a sample positioner to be used in a gamma spectroscopy lab. Will be used in taking measurements of radioactive samples. Need a completely plastic unit, any metal will alter the readings, anything like that in the line up? Light weight samples (like 20 grams...
In Tempe AZ, anybody used them or heard of them? I have a few older machines that I would like to have rebuilt. Looking for options. Would be nice to not have to ship to the midwest!

I'm going to need to bore out a 1.5" bar of HBN to a yet to be determined size (likely about 1"). Then part it off, about 2" deep.
I have never worked with this stuff and it is $$$$$$$$.
Any tips or tricks would be greatly apricated!
Thanks in advance!
I've never seen or heard of one, But I think that it would be nice to have a #7 (.201) drill bit with a 1/4" shank. Could be used in a !/4" collet, and avoid having to use a chuck and crank the Knee up and down so much.
Anybody know of such a thing?
Thanks
