So I was filling in the forms for some show tickets and it occurred to me that the PM list of international shows was missing a couple. This one will be here in a month -

Yes, what we have for sale today is a marvel of twentieth century technology - a Numeridex LC-5000 editing system. Composed of a Teletype KSR-43 input device and a Numeridex tape punch, the LC-5000 is a marvel of modern tape preparation. With 8k of memory, you can re-post programs for different...
Sorry, shouldn't do this but fools rush in; thread was rightfully locked because people were going nutso but one factual thing was being misrepresented, and I hate lies.
Neither Australia nor the US is giving "foreign aid" to India. India quit accepting foreign aid in 2010, thirteen years ago...
I don't know if this is a good idea or not but what the heck, throw some sketti at the wall and see if it sticks.
Anyone who has been interested knows that for the past few years Create has been ... out to lunch, let's say. A few people have asked and we've snuck onto their personal phones a...
Last month's show saw these, knew they existed but hadn't rubbed the paint before. They have a pretty limited use but if you have a fellows shaper and no arter, heald, or taft-peirce and no room for one, this is a possibility. If you cut gears on a shaper you really want to sharpen the cutter...
If you have one you're sick of, yell. We can try to turn that Axis pos into cold hard cash :)
Seriously, have customer who wants one. Not a tire-kicker.
Bought one of these a few weeks ago :
and I really liked it (the m-i-l absconded with it when she went back home, it sharpens knives and even The Cleaver really good). It's too cool, really.
The wheel is 3-4", plated with something that I don't think is diamond, maybe a relative of borazon ...
So I'm helping a friend set up a website so she can have an at-home part-time job exporting. I don't know anything about pearls or lacy underwear so it's going to be carbide inserts, custom tools, maybe gear tools, stuff like the little xin dian vises (there's a lot more of those from other...
I know how acerbic responses in this forum can be. Doesn't scare me at all. The only one who is a pain in the ass is that admin5 creep. I would like to relate to all of my lovely friends here a recent experience I have had. Coming back from a weekend coke and pussy spree I noticed a burned odor...
It's a dumb idea, Ox. As in, you can clean out the coolant tanks and run the vertical broach and clean out the grinding swarf and pull that burnt-out motor out of the bottom of the lathe and don't forget to mop the floors and clean the toilets, but keep outta the lunch room, buddy. We got a spot...
Looking for
vtl:

gantry mill :
6m x 3m, z axis not too particular, 3 axis is fine, same deal on...
Apologize if this has been linked before, otherwise pretty interesting. Some things I hadn't seen before - underwater induction hardening ? Plus some old friends, a Cleveland Rigidhobber (probably built by Churchill) and a Michigan hone. Plenty of good stuff ...

Hispano-Suiza on Craig's, never seen one of these in real life, just photos, seems expensive to me but might be of interest to a collector-type ? Looks clean at least and has a few accessories, Portland Oregon

After confessing to a string of museum heists that went undetected for 50 years, a Montgomery County man will spend one day in jail
Some of us have it worse than others :D
This isn't mine but just came across it, looks like an interesting and fast way to make small holes.
Sanyo Model 4MP-1H Piercing Machine, high speed punching of small holes 2008 - SANYO 4MP-1H
Anyone have any experience or info to share on this process ?
Gorton CNC Machine FREE - heavy equipment - by owner - sale
Looks really clean, been retroed, not sure what the control is ?
One thing you can say is, this is not a three-in-one hobby machine :) Looks like it started life as a #3 TapeMate ?
Japanese brand please, about year 2000, if anyone is thinking of an upgade we'll take the old one. 2 pallets is okay, 6 or a palletech would be better. CAT 50 is okay, BT 50 is better, number of tools not too important, 7000 rpm would be enough. Thank you.
