    I just checked it is a 110 volt coil. The transformer has 4 wires. Two went to L2,L3 the other was wingut fastened to #1 wire from the on off switch, last wire was connected at the jump behind T1.

    I ended up taking the leads out to the transformer for the light. Wired it up like the diagram in the box and it fired up. Now after about ten minutes on, I am getting smoke. The wiring in my building has a high leg on B.

    Thank you for the reply. I am not familiar with mag starters. This particular unit has a transformer for the light. When start button is pushed I am getting a hum, but doesn’t engage. If I compress the magnet manually while the start button is engaged it seems as there is not enough pull to...

    Hello, I was reading a thread on mag starters, and saw you had said you had papers and 100 line. By chance did you work with the general electric cr106 b1? I have 2 pettingell power hammers, each has the same.
