alternative material for heat treated 1214
hello, we currently heat treat 1214 to about 40HRc in order to improve its wear resistance. we would now like to make a cheaper production by replacing this with material that does not require heat treating but has same or better wear resistance as 1214 heat treated to Hrc 40, any suggestions...
