This is how it looks after some trys at scraping...and high polished dots are really hard to see, so I mark every one with a permanent marker before I scrape further for more points

Hi Richard and Peter
Can I ask one question...why my contact points get really tiny when I scrape with Biax power scraper is this normal. I use blade 90 radius with 10-12mm of stroke for roughing narrower surfaces and then switch to 60 radius and 5mm stroke for further more precise high spot...
Only difference between 564 or Biax original motor to 700 quick was at the 4 flute gear shaft that the shaft is ground to 7mm all the way to the bearing while original has 7mm diameter of gear and then it extends to 8mm before the bearing. But I think that will not alter the performance as much...
I think I can call it a happy ending...Ebay seller and I settled for partial refund of 100€ and then bought this Metabo ST EP 700 quick which I think is in good shape for the same amount of €. It even has a stronger motor as original. It's almost a shame to disassemble such a quality jig saw ;)
HI
I have taken speed control wheel apart and found out that there is some kind of silver contact paint which was rubbed off and there was no more contacts to the second pin. I didn't have any paint that could transfer electricity so I think that potentiometer is shoot. Sadly I didn't take...
Hi
I just bought used BL40 scraper from ebay. From the pictures and description that it's fully functional I went for it. Yesterday finally arrived and I was stoked. After checking the box I found two blade holders, because it didn't say they come with it. But then nasty surprise. i turned the...
One question to you all Deckel LK owners...Did Deckel made two versions of optical scales? Asking because I can only read to 0,005mm increments trough optical window, while some have micron increments? Do I missed something?
I just want to let you know for those who are searching for special grease for high speed frequency motors from Deckel LK I researched a bit and noticed that Isoflex Super TEL is rated to 1M rpms while this new Kluberspeed bf 72-22 is rated to 2M rpms. So I went with it, im quite shore this...
The bearing is S6003 which dimensions are 17X40X12mm. So 40x60.000=240.0000 The hi frequency heads are two types 15-30k and 30-60k rpms
From this as I see Isoflex NBU 15 wont do the job. I talked to Kluber representative and he recommended Klüberspeed BF 72-22 grease and he said this grease is...
Hi
Can someone help me...I'm trying to repack and clean grinding, heads from Deckel LK. Did maybe someone dissembled them and repacked them successfully? I'm having troubles to dissemble the bearing on the tip of the head...everything else and upper bearing I could get out with some tinkering...
I was thinking about to finish it on the mill, but still don't have all the tools for and still getting the feel of it what's capable of, so I skipped that process. It will also be difficult to flycut the surface as the pin is already compressed and glued with locktite.... Will leave it as it...
Hi...Just to let you know I managed to make a backplate for my Walter dividing head. It was not as easy as when you can attach the backplate and finish it on the lathe where it will be well precise. I managed it to get a 0.04mm of run out on the outer side of 160mm chuck. It could be better, but...
TNB thanks for the info...found also somewhere in the closet hidden some instructions of this Centricator and I already used it for tramming my bed on the mill. Very usefull tool . Now I have another question...found this two odd parallels or something. What could this be...a sinbar?
