Without a photo it is hard for me to envision this on your machine. However on my Kellner, there is just a 1/4" round rod that drops into the half round toothed section. It seems weird that this holds the work securely when the screw of the movable jaw is tight but it does.
I am thinking it was calibrated at the factory with a small wedge that I bet is hidden under that plaster. The only way to tell is to chip out the plaster.
Some BP parts are likely interchangeable. Some may work with a little filing and fiddling.
You can always resell anything you can't use on Ebay. I bought parts there to fix up my real deal BP.
It's hard to see how that juice is worth the squeeze. A one ton press is pretty gutless. I got rid of one I had years ago and would not own anything smaller than a three ton. If you really want to waste the time the you will likely have to make a single point cutter to do it. Hopefully you can...
Not much, but if you want to understand postings, you have to go back and read the entire thread. Threads take on a life of their own and often wander to side issues. Just like if you are in a bar drinking with friends and chewing the fat.
The lower class pay zero Federal Income Tax. They have no tax burden. In fact the bottom 50 %. Did you process that? The bottom FIFTY PERCENT. HALF THE POPULATION. Pay ZERO Federal Income tax. Many get a negative tax. It's called the Earned Income Tax Credit. It's free money from the rest of us...
Personally I love the fact that we have thousands of mega-millionairs and billionaires. Money is power. I like power to be spread around. I don't want the government to be all powerful like in a Monarchy, Oligarchy or a Communist system. I want lots and lots of billionaires!

You guys really don't understand. If you are not in the zone of totality (100% total coverage) you really never saw the eclipse. Even 99% does not give you the experience. I agree, just seeing the moon take a bite of the sun is ho hum. At 99% the sun is still too bright to take off your glasses...
I lucked out again! My wife's friend lived in the path of totality in North Carolina for the 2017 eclipse so we drove 8 hours to see it. The weather was great that day and it was SPECTACULAR!!!!
My son lives in the path of totality near Cleveland for today's event so we drove six hours to...
It's really none of your business or the new hire's business what the CEO gets paid. Both of you are just tiny little unimportant clogs in the giant machine that is a fortune 500 auto company. You only deserve to be paid what you can get on the open free market for common labor in your area from...
So even when I give multiple examples of your erroneous thinking you persist. I will waste no more time on you. You have shown the entire group here that your thoughts are illogical.
What, another foolish comment by you. Not surprising.
How many examples do you want me to provide to prove your silliness?
My first cell phone cost me $2,000 in around 1984. Now the price has come down so much you get better ones for free.
My first flat screen TV cost me $2,500. Now bigger and...
