Does anyone have a doall grinder close to this generation? I have a leak in the pilot valve that I can’t seem to figure out. The valve is pictured above.
I’d love to see one put together, as I think mine had been messed with in the past by the previous owner.
Hey all, there was a significant leak in the valve that controls the table movement, so took it apart and found the oil seal was fubar. Replaced it. I am wondering what these 2 flat head screws are for? They seem to do absolutely nothing. The 4 SHCS are what hold the back cover on to the body.
Someone has definitely been into the Selectron controller. I remember when I inspected the unit, the holding power was very weak, which I was hoping due to the fact that the chuck was rusty and dirty, but I don't think thats the case.
Anyway, I may have to buy or build a new one. 220V input...
You think I run the risk of damaging the seals by using the cost effective stuff from tractor supply?
I was probably going to flush the first 5 gallons anyway
I found this in stock locally. You think its an equivalent to DTE 25?

Guys, after putting the motor back together, I have this gap at the front shaft bearing. I don’t remember it being there when I took apart, but can’t be sure.
Is it normal?
Would I take the table off to access it?
The hydraulic pump also sounds low on fluid. I’ll get it home, open everything up and let you know how it goes.
Thanks again for all your help.
@eKretz i just did another inspection. The cross feed hand wheel is definitely not moving the table. You think it’s an easy fix? The handle on the right should be the cross feed mode selector, with forward being manual mode.
$300. $372 with tax and commission.
Thanks for the manual.
When I did the inspection on the unit, the cross feed wheel did not move the table. It was in hydraulic mode. Any ideas on how to switch it to manual mode?
Guys
Picked up this at auction today for a very good price. Have done a bit of research on them, but not a ton out there. Any insight or info on it would be greatly appreciated...
