20MnV6 material anyone ever machine it?
Looking to quote a job made of 20MnV6. Does anyone have any experience machining this stuff. I can not seem to find any machinability ratings or speed and feeds to machine this. Turning TZM material
Anyone have any experience turning TZM material? From what I can find on the internet its .5% Titanium, .08% Zirconium and the remainder is Molybdenum. Looking for insert grades and ball park speed, feeds and any other comments on this stuff. Thanks for any info. Tom- Tom

What does "VDI" stand for?
Had a question asked today from a customer wanting to know what the abbreviation "VDI" stands for. Any one have a clue? I kind of like "very difficult indicating in" but that would be "VDII". Any thoughts on this one. Tom- Tom
