I got to be the layout person for stuff like so at Enpro systems. Its the "throat sheet" for a big high temperature refinery slide valve and was of plate at least 2" thick
May be the one with 11" A1 spindle nose and 4" cap. thru the collets. No affiliation.
The "Tools" book calls this a M-2770 - but that doesn't make it one :D

One of their substantial engine lathes for sale out Seattle way - you can tell by the pair of hand wheels on vertical shafts - one on each end of the lathe. All these in the 1920 catalog are double back geared - and ON EDIT - have the "pooch out" apron suggesting double wall.

Here is how the stud gears changed for various mm. If I recall correctly, Monarch was using a 63 / 80 compound. The 2 1/2 - 80 is the third from right column on the QC gearbox chart - at least on the 14 and 16" lathes
