My building was made by ARMCO in the 70's .
They used fiberglass skylights in the standing seam roof.
The panels are 11' long, 16" wide with 2" 90 deg lips both up on both sides, approximately 3/32 thick.
Talked to some suppliers, nobody has the panels.

Was asked if we could produce or source this clip, low quantity.
Clip fits into a "cap" and when the cap is inserted this clip goes over a .250 pin which is centered in relationship to the cap.

The first op they are held on a 4 part vac fixture we made in house.. VMC ......works well.
Second op is flip over and drill/tap a 1/8-27 about .625in from the edge....currently done...
Well the ol Hitachi Seiki va-40 has been churning out parts without a hiccup......lol.....and holding very nice tolerances for a 40 year old girl.
Job is over for now so I wanted to address a alignment issue with the z axis and ATC arm, the head is about 1/16 low.
I have replaced the ATC arm...

It works....but after it does the first M98 it goes back to main program and sits at the Go G55 line unless i hit the start button.
Then it does the routine just fine but sits at M30 again until I hit go.

McMaster has cast iron and aluminum discs.
To me cast seems better, then rotary, adapter and chuck are all the same material.
Wonder if Alum corrodes over time??

In manual mode..LOL....its go for it, one pull done. At the most may lift once to make sure lube is getting down in there.

For drilling holes with a VMC.. use a drill chuck or Er setup?
Have bought some tooling from Maritool,...getting ready for some more.
Drill chuck seems easy but I wonder about drift??
