I have a Abene VHF-3 In great condition, but it does not have the adjustable quill.
I found another machine that has the quill on it and the gentleman selling it is willinf to take the head off and sell it to me at a good price.
Would anyone know if i can just swap heads without any...

I undertook changing the wipers on all ways on my lathe. The ones that are on here appear to be rubber and they seem very worn out.
Under the saddle are grooves for a one shot oiler system. They were completely packed with crap(maybe worn out wiper material?)

As the tile says, what is this type of grinder and wheels made for. I have this and want to use it for its purpose. Im having a hard time sharpening drill bits as im not use to the angles and wearing the wheels unevenly.

Hi all,
Got this chuck years ago, and it never cut center on my lathe with 5mt tailstock.
I finally took the jt5 taper off and its all gouged up.
Can this be repaired? Can i knock off the raised metal gouges and sand it down to fit my new morse/jt adapter?

Does anyone know what oil I should use for the headstock on a tuda lathe? The oil is looking low and I'd like to flush it out and put some new oil in.
Also if anyone knows of a manual for this machine id buy it!!

Hi everyone. Just got this tool post with seven tool holders. Most are swiss made some are from W.Germany.
The problem is the tool post seems way to small for my lathe. In order to get it to height the tool holder is only clamping on half the splines.
Im also going to have to make a new t-nut...

I have a vise and i don't know where it came frome and was wondering it might be the original vise for my Prema no.4 metal shaper.
It may be from either one of the machines we purchased at one time as well.

Not sure if antique or not, but juat picked this up a few months ago, havent had a chance to run it or clean it. Is this a good lathe? Is it better than say my small Sofia ?

Ive got a Adcock Shipley 2s milling machine for a while. It hard to change gears and always get grinding. Seems like the gear changer wheel isnt synchronized well with the sproket positions inside the gearbox. Also the turtle/rabbit control for high/low speeds gave out and went past...
