    Need repair advice with Jacobs 20n superchuck

    Hi all, Got this chuck years ago, and it never cut center on my lathe with 5mt tailstock. I finally took the jt5 taper off and its all gouged up. Can this be repaired? Can i knock off the raised metal gouges and sand it down to fit my new morse/jt adapter? Thanks

    Tuda lathe oil for spindle box.
