what's with the usps? i've shipped parts and ordered materials and no dice?

Right on the money, as usual. The "righties" in here think that since the moderator leans right, it stands to reason that they have free reign to make snide political remarks, uncensored by him and unchallenged by us on the left. Not going to happen. He started it, I'm just here to...

what's with the usps? i've shipped parts and ordered materials and no dice?

I see I painted you into a corner on that one, and you had to deflect. He did choose that man, and that man's job was to disrupt the ability to cast votes by mail, and it was to be carried out by disrupting the mail system. Your side (if they manage to overthrow the election this time) is...

what's with the usps? i've shipped parts and ordered materials and no dice?

We sure are. Biden neglected to fire Trump plant and post office destroyer Louis DeJoy. DeJoy was the mastermind behind the plan that included dismantling the brand new sorting machines in the hubs to slow down the system and make voting by mail fail. Don't you remember that? Didn't figure...

    Interesting electric motor

Took letterpress printing back in junior high and high school, worked in a printshop junior and senior year of school, and continued on after graduation for a few years. School and the shop I worked at both had sheet fed printing presses driven by motors like that. The interface between the...

    OT: Solar Panels for house

We did vote them out. But, the loser didn't leave and his henchmen tried to overthrow the government.... We can't get anything done governmentally with that party in any position of power, no matter how good of an idea it is. Watch the news and see for yourself.

    Big Machine Tool Pics

Combination shear/punch from railroad boiler shop... A railroad shop I worked in had one of these as late as 1999. Not in use, but still connected to the 250 vdc rectifier that ran the overhead cranes at the time. Machines were original to the 1914 era building. When I first went to work...

New member with an old compressor

Well I've never seen anybody explain that you were to put water in the grease gun. I always thought it was stupid to be introducing grease to the inside of a pressure vessel, lol. I've seen grease gun mentioned a thousand times but nobody ever explained that you were pumping water with it.

When you're hydro testing with the grease gun method, What Becomes of that grease you pump in there?

Ammco shaper and Van Norman boring bar @online auction - closes tomorrow evening.

This piston was his doorstop for years. It's up to 41$ If one of you buys something, I could be persuaded to go pick it up. As far as truck shipping goes, we have a Fastenal store here. Not sure if every location participates in the Fastenal Truck Freight or not, but I'd be happy to get some...

    Helium reserves sold

The welder in the video explained that "the previous administration" put a tariff on helium. That is pertinent information. Due to a tariff, it costs more. I caught that little tidbit in the guys explanation of why the stuff costs more, as did Bill. I think it's worth remarking on, as does...

    Funniest shop pranks and stories

I'm jumpy in the first place. Back in my sheet metal shop days, my coworkers quickly learned that. I've had live and dead snakes in tool box drawers, live sparrow in toolbox drawers.... fake snakes in cabinets tied to door handle so it'd fly out when I swung door open..one time someone caught a...

Share your stories about guys who got fired

AT the railroad I worked at, they go through junior "managers" like I go through socks. The particular depot/yard I worked at is not a desirable place for them... they get forced to come work here, so they're always looking to transfer.... usually hoping to go back to where they lived in the...

OT: Prostate cancer, need I say more........

I'm emotional about a politician giving away classified, top secret documents to our enemies who aided him in winning an election....and Ron's intimating that Lloyd being out of commission is a catastrophic national security disaster... while he conveniently ignores the part I mentioned... which...
