Some company, several years ago, was pushing a shipping service where you bought a standard pallet with a gaylord or maybe a plywood box attached. Took it home and filled it up. I think you had to take it back to their warehouse and they would ship it on for you. Was it maybe Fastenal...
Off Topic. Is this a scam or a joke like a flux capacitor? They are selling a three phase time dilation module for $199,500. Only used once by a little old lady on Sunday.

Some one on ebay is selling a Makita drill that they say works okay but it overheats and starts blowing smoke. They are asking $50 for it. Seems unlikely to me. I suppose the variable speed would vary the smoke output.
I would take a look if it was free, maybe for a friend or neighbor.

Saw this for sale on marketplace. 2,000 feet of track 1/6 scale. Not sure if it pneumatic or floats on air. I have no idea if this is related to the California high speed rail project or not.

I have noticed that NEMA size motors do not include shaft diameter in the specs. Just bolt hole spacing and height of shaft above the base. For motors 5 - 7.5 horsepower I see shaft sizes from 5/8 to 1+3/8 diameter. I assume the bigger shaft motors have bigger bearings and are overall more...

Does locktite or others make a glue to hold a oilite sleeve bearing in a bore. Similar to what can be used in a wallowed out bore for a ball bearing. Or is the material to greasy to lock in place with adhesives.

I have a small Marvel #1 drag saw that uses 12" blades. I use regular hacksaw blades. I may buy something a little bigger for the occasional larger work. Has anyone made a blade extender so you can use 12" blades in a larger machine for smaller work.
I have noticed many makes improved their...
My Google fu is bad. All I find is how short a life china made cars have before they are worn out.
I assume China made motors do not last long if used hard and long, hot. Maybe I am wrong and new improved insulation and epoxy coil dips mean they are better then old school USA made motors...
Wonder if other countries are in on it as well?

Most garden faucets have square tapered stems for the valve handle to get pushed onto and held down with a screw. A few have a splined stem. I bought a replacement handle for one faucet and the new handle hole is too large. I do not want to have to buy a new faucet since the good two piece...
