Has any one here ever welcomed you? Might be difficult in these times with the Ukraine situation. But if you are here babbling about spindle bearings. That just makes you another industrial gypsie / brother. I had no say on where I was born.
I'm not of American decent, but I love a few of them...
Fairly certain they are in a DF face to face arrangment. That's the only way they can work, being locked onto the spindle and internally pre-loaded. Static to the spindle and free to axially float.
I'm fairly certain my passion for solving particular problems is as welcome here as it is at the machinist forum. We could take a vote? Only difference I'm about in the 50 top machine tool engineers. Your about the 1 in 20 million that can make swarf/ scrap.
Why the fuck were you fired up about...
I have no fucking idea who or what a Dualkit is / was. Him. Her / they / them. Did they have a spindle I was involved in?
If you have an issue with the entity "Dualkit" perhaps you might take it up with "them" directly. In my 20 years here and the few years I've spent at the dark zone. I dont...
Of course the thrust bearings go in first, up against the thrust faces in the housing. To do it arse about your only pressing your thrust washers up against the O.D of your deep groove ball bearings. Then you live with all the axial clearance of the deep groove ball.
Oldest trick for young...
My Australian associate has been online for all of 3 hours now. Knows all about fixing Boeing, Putin, Ukraine but not one word here since it got more technical than glue. About sum's him up. Fight fair you prick, I love the challange.
Care to provide just one, or any example of a US corporation moving completly from China to India.
You said "HAD" moved. That would be to suggest it was a Fait Accompli. Thats French for:. an accomplished fact; a thing already done: I dont think you have any accomplised facts in your...
I'd note my Learned Colleague hasn't been here once since this got techinal. Yet he is over in Manufacturing in America & Europe, solving Boeing's crisis this past hour. In the immortal words of Dwayne Johnson. Can you smell what the fraud is cooking.
You do know how we Abbreviate every thing down here, Aluminium is called Ali.
This Thermite and the John K.
All I can come up with is a word of 4 letters, And that starts with "C"
Neither of them has spent a day in an engineering shop.
I think what you are seeing if perfectly normal. At the fit its specified at, it must be free to axially float. Were they P4Y's you removed? That might be the difference, being tighter controlled on OD. Your Ying and Yang may not have collided. If you couldn't decern any wear of the housing...
Its beyond a joke trying to have a true techical conversation here. Bearing sizes of 0 - 8 um, and housing sizes of plus / minus 0.0025mm. I wish this bloke good luck, but I'm going back to the ignore list.
No its exactly how it should react when its full of grease. Your thinking 3600 rpm or what ever pole motor your thinking of. 3,600 was it? He's only just hand assembled it. The outers will creap, just the same as they are designed too axially and radially. The fits are that good, you dont need a...
He further went on to report that he could detect 0.0002" of deflection. Thats 2 ten thouandths of an inch deflection. Appox 5 microns. Let me guess your solution would be to weld it up and line bore it like an excavator pin? Wouldn't the fact be, you have no fucking idea what your talking about...
Unless you could detect any bore wear when you did all that good work with a dial bore gauge. Thats perfectly normal. As you are already aware, that bearing to housing fit is a transition fit. Were I grew up, we'd call that a two thumb fit. If you could push the bearing in by two thumbs, it was...
Have you ever been inside of a precision spindle? Wouldn't you be more au fait with bulldozers. Yet your out here embarrassing us Australians with your lack of knowlege. Its why many of us don't participate any more. The reason the upper bearings are a sliding or transition fit, is that they can...
Any thing in the 900+ parameter group in a control of that vintage, is whats referred to as "option parameters". Things your control may or may not have such as Macro modes, memory size, options like pitch error ect ect. You wont find them in a control manual.
What is it you are trying to do...
Wouldn't you be the former banned member AlexO. You have been reported. Hint. No one does 90 posts in the partial month they join.
I'll even tell you how I pinned you. You (Alex & Orbital) both use the same racist phrase "Afreeka".
Good luck with staying a member.
Phil.
Given you seemed to be locked down on every thread that you start, and this one seems to be the only one open or not locked down. You are aware the bloke that owns this show
Did you read about the Viper here? He was super sub sonic manufacturing.
