1999 Brother TC-229 Power alarm when poweer is turned on

I have a 199 Brother TC-229 that when you turn the power on at the back it instantly has a power alarm light on the control that comes on with the main power light.
Can anyone help me with what might be the problem with this?

Did you just wire this machine up? Or has this machine been running for a while and this issue just started?

I would start at checking the power supply outputs, for the record I am not familiar with that machine.

Need more info, is the machine not booting up? What is happening? Could it just be out of phase?
